The ongoing feud between Martellus Bennett and the Green Bay Packers seems to be just getting started with both parties taking shots at each other.

It all began earlier in the season according to Bennett who said his injury was mismanaged and that the team doctor wasn't doing what was best for him and instead making decisions about his health with the best interests of the team in mind.

This all became public when Bennett was released by Green Bay this week and took his grievances to social media.

Aaron Rodgers was one of the first ones to publicly back the medical staff and specifically the doctor in question.

In addition to Rodgers, other have weighed in with doubt to the validity of the claims made by Bennett.

Another factor in play with some of the doubt being cast on the claims is the fact that Martellus Bennett's brother Michael was involved in a very public dispute with the Las Vegas Police Department in which some of his claims were to this point proven not to be fully true.

Right or wrong, many are lumping the two together and are not willing to believe the most recent claims by Martellus.

Finally, Bennett has now signed and been cleared to play by the New England Patriots throwing even more doubt to whether the full truth is being told and leaving them wondering if there is more to the story.

Bennett now rejoins the team he played for last season as he won his first Super Bowl ring.
