Informally the word came down Monday. The official word arrived Tuesday that former Sioux Falls Skyforce forward Henry Walker gets a second 10-day contract with the Miami HEAT.

Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Since joining the club on February 21, Walker has made a significant impact.

Statistics tell the story of five game appearances with one start. In those contests, Walker averaged 9.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 24.7 minutes.

You can relive his electrifying dunk in his first HEAT game below versus Philadelphia. Walker ended up being the hero in a win over Orlando when he hit consecutive three-point baskets in the final minute to force overtime on February 25.

Walker has also appeared in 17 games (eight starts) for the HEAT’s NBA Development League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce, this season averaging 15.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.00 steals and 27.8 minutes while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 44.8 percent from three-point range.
