No longer a member of the Miami Heat via the Amnesty provision, Mike Miller has found a home in his old stomping grounds of Memphis.

It has been confirmed that the South Dakota native will join the Memphis Grizzlies.

It had been thought that Miller may join the Oklahoma City Thunder and make another Championship push with them, but according to sources, Miller just couldn't resist the opportunity to head back to Memphis where he saw success earlier in his career.

According to Mark Stein of ESPN, Grizzlies mainstays Marc Gasol and Mike Conley took an active role in recruiting Miller as well, with Conley jokingly telling ESPN.com on Tuesday at Team USA mini-camp in Las Vegas that he offered Miller "golf on me for a year" if he'd agree to join shooting-starved Memphis.

Although it seemed like OKC and Memphis were the front runners for Miller's services, there were other reports that Denver, Houston and Cleveland all had interest in the sharp shooter.

As we've seen in the past, when folks have counted Mike Miller out, he has shunned those nay-sayers and excelled, including two NBA Championships with the Heat.  We'll see this time around if Mike still has something left in the tank and how far Miller and the Grizzlies go in the 2013-2014 season.

His deal itself is guaranteed for year one with a player option for year two according to sources.
