Milwaukee Brewers First Baseman Hunter Morris Headed to Pittsburgh Pirates in Trade

PITTSBURGH (AP) — The Milwaukee Brewers have traded minor league first baseman Hunter Morris to the Pittsburgh Pirates for an unspecified player.

The Pirates announced the deal Thursday for the Brewers' fourth-round pick from the 2010 draft.

Morris hit .275 across three levels last season, playing mostly in Triple-A. He had 11 home runs and 45 RBIs across the three levels.

He is 3 for 13 in spring training this year with four strikeouts.
