MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Lynx forward Maya Moore is the Western Conference Player of the Week.

The WNBA announced the award Monday. It's Moore's third Western Conference player of the week award this season and the 17th of her career.

Moore averaged 28.3 points, 3.3 assists and 6.3 rebounds as the Lynx went 2-1 last week.

The six-year pro out of Connecticut scored a team-high 33 points last Tuesday against the Chicago Sky. Thirteen of Moore's points came in the fourth quarter and helped the Lynx erase a 10-point deficit for their third double-digit comeback win of the season.

Moore racked up 40 points on Thursday against Connecticut and added eight rebounds, three steals and two blocks. On Saturday she scored 12 points and a game-high seven assists against Dallas.
