MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minnesota Lynx star Seimone Augustus says she has spoken to a police chief in a Minneapolis suburb following her traffic stop this week and is content to move on.

Augustus was pulled over on Monday in Roseville for having an air freshener hanging from her mirror. That violates a state statute. Augustus tweeted about the incident and appeared upset because she thought it was a case of racial profiling. She is black.

A Roseville police spokesman says the stop had nothing to do with race and added that Augustus was only issued a warning.

Augustus says she and Chief Rick Mathwig had "a great conversation."

She says ready to put the incident behind her and prepare for the WNBA Finals. Game 1 is Sunday against Connecticut or Indiana.
