Anthony Bennett has fallen along way since being selected #1 overall in the 2013 NBA Draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The young man out of UNLV never found his stride in two years so far in the NBA with the Cavs and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Now according to multiple media reports, Bennett's contract with be bought out by the Wolves.

The Timberwolves apparently tried to trade Bennett but there were no takers and it essentially forced their hand to make this move.

He will hit waivers and if he clears waivers would become an unrestricted free agent.

He is owed over $22 million dollars over the last three years of his five year rookie deal that he signed in 2013.
