The Minnesota Twins enter the All Star break coming off of their first series win over the New York Yankees since 2001.

Although the season has had more downs than ups, this past series was certainly a bright spot heading into a much needed break.

The final game of the Yankees/Twins series featured Yankees ace CC Sabathia and hopefully for the Twins sake, their future ace Kyle Gibson.

Gibson came into the series 1-2 after two consecutive losses after picking up his first MLB win in his first MLB start. Gibson got help from the Twins offense, something not too common these days in Minnesota and pitched in and out of some jams to give himself his second career win and the Twins their fist series win in New York in over a decade.

After the game at Yankee Stadium, our own Jeff Thurn sat down with Minnesota Twins pitcher Kyle Gibson. They discussed the season so far, the game itself, the future of this team and the All Star break.

Take a listen and enjoy.
