We all love free stuff! If you're planning on making a trip to the cities for a Minnesota Twins game this summer, here's the days you can scoop some great promotional items.

The Twins will open their home schedule on Thursday, March 5 against Seattle. Opening Day for baseball is always special, and this year the Twins are offering a cool hoodie sweatshirt (M/XL) to the first 30,000 fans. The team will also celebrate "Kids Opening Day" on Sunday, March 8 and they will offer the first 5,000 kids 12 and under a TC Bear pocket shirt.

Clothing is the big theme this season with other days featuring a Brian Dozier/Byron Buxton t-shirt day (Friday, April 13), and even a border battle shirt day when the face the Brewers on May 18. There are a few more scattered throughout the year.

People looking to cash in on a new hat can find a winter style flannel cap on April 14, while other days for hats include April 28, June 24, July 7, and September 28/29/30.

Theme nights this season include the ever popular Star Wars (May 22), Jack Morris HOF (8/18) night, and Jim Thome HOF night (8/25).

And finally, if you're an avid collector, four bobblehead nights will take place throughout the summer. This year the Twins will host four bobblehead nights as they honor Max Keppler (June 1), Buxton (June 22), Eddie Rosario (July 13) and Johan Santana (8/4).

There are many other days that the Twins have planned throughout the regular season. If you're looking for a little extra take-home gift or excuse to get up to the cities for a game, these promotions should help.

Minnesota enters the 2018 season after reaching the Wild Card round during the 2017 season.
