MANKATO, Minn. (AP) — The owner of a pizzeria that's offering free food for Minnesota Vikings players training in Mankato isn't worried their big appetites will bankrupt him.

The owner, after all, is a Vikings player himself — tackle Matt Kalil. The St. Paul Pioneer Press says Kalil and his dad own three Pieology Pizzeria restaurants in Minnesota, including two others in St. Paul and Maple Grove.

With 21 players on the Vikings roster weighing in at more than 300 pounds, Kalil is confident in his business plan. The way Kalil figures it, any Vikings players eating at his pizzeria will only bring in more customers.

The pizza place is just a block from the practice fields at Minnesota State Mankato. Monday is the second day of training camp for the Vikings.
