Minnesota Vikings fans might be feeling the withdrawal of the NFL season being over, but the wait for them to get back on the field will be shorter than 30 other teams.

The NFL has announced that the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers have been selected to play in the 2015 Hall of Fame Game. The game will take place on August 9, 2015 from Canton, Ohio.

Both teams have members entering the NFL Hall of Fame this season. Pittsburgh's long time running back Jerome Bettis will be inducted this season, along with Minnesota's former center Mick Tingelhoff.

The NFL preseason includes four preseason games for each team. Minnesota and Pittsburgh will both still play four preseason games following the Hall of Fame Game. Opponents for the preseason games will be announced at a later date.
