ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild will play three home games under new coach Bruce Boudreau as part of their six-game preseason schedule.

Minnesota's first game at Xcel Energy Center with Boudreau as coach will be against the Colorado Avalanche on Sept. 27.

The Wild have a pair of home-and-home series with division rivals Colorado and the Winnipeg Jets. Minnesota plays the second game against the Avs on Oct. 4 at Pepsi Center. The Wild play at Winnipeg on Sept. 29 and close out the preseason at home against the Jets on Oct. 8.

Minnesota also hosts the Carolina Hurricanes on Oct. 2 and opens the preseason with a road game against Buffalo on Sept. 26 at a location to be announced.

The Wild's regular season schedule will be announced later this month.
