ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have announced a six-game preseason that includes two home games against the Buffalo Sabres and a home-and-home series with the Winnipeg Jets.

The Wild will play three games at Xcel Energy Center, opening the preseason at home against Buffalo on Sept. 21. Minnesota closes its preseason schedule against the Sabres in St. Paul on Oct. 1.

The Wild travel to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to take on the Jets at MTS Centre on Sept. 22, then play a rematch Sept. 27 at Xcel Energy Center.

Minnesota plays a road game against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Sept. 24 and takes on the Edmonton Oilers on Sept. 26 at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
