A record was set on Tuesday night that most of us probably thought would have happened sometime in Major League Baseball history.

Every single MLB team was in action on Tuesday, giving fans 15 different games to choose from. This is the first time in history that every home team won on the same day with 15 games going on.

It's kind of unbelievable when thinking about it. With the amount of games that take place during one season of baseball, and the amount of seasons they have had, it's crazy that there hasn't been a home team sweep on any other day. Even better is that the last time home teams were close to a sweep was back in 1914.

Home teams didn't have it easy though. The Marlins defeated the Red Sox in walk-off fashion in 10 innings, while Cleveland needed 16 innings to beat the Yankees. Minnesota also claimed a walk-off win in the 9th inning against Texas.

Keep August 11, 2015 as a date to remember. This might come in handy one day when you need to stump your friends on a trivia question.
