Last night for the 5th consecutive year, the SEC sent a team to the Cotton Bowl and won.

Texas A&M defeated Oklahoma in a beat down last night 41-13.

The storyline though coming out from last night isn't that another SEC team won the Cotton Bowl nor should it be. It's the fact that Johnny "Football" Manziel lived up to the billing.

The 2012 Heisman Trophy award winner put on a show, totaling up a Bowl Record 516 yards of offensive in rout to throwing for 2 TD's and rushing for 2 TD's as well.

Over the last 3 years, the Heisman curse in regards to the winners struggling in bowl games hasn't been the case, but a lot of people thought the Freshman Manziel may just start the trend again.

Boy were they wrong...

Looking at Manziel with three years left of eligibility, he could potentially win 2 more Heisman Trophy awards before he could make the decision to bolt to the NFL.

On a Texas A&M team that will finish in the BCS Top 10 and possibly Top 5, recruiting good talent to go along side Johnny "Football", wont be a problem.

His one down fall is that he will have to try and live up to the spectacular freshman campaign me just had and in the eyes of voters, it may be hard to re-capture the magic of 2012.

But with this electric QB and the potential of the next couple of years for the Aggies, it all could be within his reach.

We all know the only two time Heisman Trophy Award winner is Archie Griffin, but looking down the road, I would be shocked if Manziel doesn't join him on that list.
