The NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Pocono will run Monday morning due to Sunday's rain. The race will start Monday at 10:00 AM Central.

This is the same thing that happened at Pocono back in June. It's the first time Pocono has been postponed twice in the same year.

The series' first stop in 2016 at the 2.5-mile triangular track was delayed until Monday due to rain, and Kurt Busch went on to find Victory Lane.

Martin Truex Jr. will start on the pole Monday morning. He earned that starting spot in Friday's qualifying. See the full starting line-up.

Monday's running of Pocono is scheduled for the original full 400 miles. It is race number 21 of the 36 points races for the Sprint Cup season.

Racing coverage begins at 9:45 AM Monday morning on AM1000 KXRB.
