After putting up all kinds of numbers in the NBA D-League this year and recording the D-League MVP, Andrew Goudelock got the opportunity of a lifetime.

After an unfortunate injury to Kobe Bryant, Goudelock got the call from his former team the Los Angeles Lakers to fill the roster spot.

Not only did he fill the spot, the Lakes gave Goudelock the nod in the playoffs as a starter.

Thriving in the D-League is one thing, but doing on the bright stage is another.

Coined the Mini Mamba by Kobe himself, Goudelock went on to have a strong summer showing at the "NBA Summer Leagues", playing for the Chicago Bulls.

All of that and no guaranteed contract from a NBA team.  The question is why?

His former D-League coach Joel Abelson commented on my show Overtime that he is asking that same question.

Only time will tell if Goudelock does end up finding a NBA destination or if he decides to go overseas for a lucrative deal over there.

Andrew Goudelcok joined Jeff Thurn on Overtime to talk about his NBA future and recap the NBA Summer League.

Take a listen and enjoy.
