NBA D-League President Dan Reed Resigns To Work For Facebook
The NBA announced Monday that NBA D-League President Dan Reed has resigned and will take a position as head of global sports partnerships for Facebook.
Personally, I have always been a huge fan of Reed who was always very generous to our show and coverage of the D-League.
Add in his educational background accompanied with a great personality, Dan Reed will be missed by the D-League as well as the NBA as a whole.
He took the league to new heights and has set his predecessor up for success as the NBA D-League continues to grow and develop NBA talent.
I spoke with the D-League offices yesterday and no timetable has been set publicly for the announcement of his replacement.
