The first two big names in the 2016 NBA free agency period have reportedly signed with teams.

Center Andre Drummond and the Detroit Pistons have come to terms with a five-year max deal that is worth around $130 million. Drummond will get the player option to pick up the fifth year of the contract according to ESPN sources.

Drummond was one of the league's best big men, averaging 16.2 ppg, 14.8 rpg and 1.4 blkpg in 81 games during the 2015-2016 season.

According to other ESPN sources, The Miami Heat and center Hassan Whiteside have come to agreements on a four-year deal worth $98 million.

Whiteside had met with the New York Knicks as well but announced his decision via Snapchat.

He averaged 14.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg and 3.7 blkpg in 73 games last season with the Heat.
