INDIANAPOLIS, IN -- Minnesota State (11-0) and Minnesota Duluth (10-1) were selected to participate in the NCAA DII Football Playoffs.

The Mavericks earned the number one seed and a first round bye.  Minnesota Duluth earned the sixth seed and will travel to third seeded Missouri Western State on Saturday, November 17.  Minnesota State will await the winner of the (4) Northwest Missouri State (9-2) vs. (5) Harding (9-1). Henderson State (10-0) will be the second seed in the region.

The NSIC, the Great American Conference (GAC), the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) and the Great Northwest Athletic Conference  make up the NCAA Super Region #3 this year.  The top six teams in the final rankings will earn a spot in the NCAA DII Football Playoffs.
