NCAA Selection Shows: South Dakota State Throws a Pair of Viewing Parties

In just a few days, the South Dakota State men's and women's basketball teams find out their first round assignments for the NCAA Tournament and you can watch along with them.

Jackrabbit players,coaches, and fans have a pair of events planned in downtown Brookings for the tournament selection shows.

The men's selection show is Sunday at 5:00pm on CBS, with a viewing party set for Cubby's in Brookings.

The women's selection show is Monday at 6:00pm on ESPN. The viewing party that night is at The Nine, adjacent to Cubby's.

The SDSU men and women are in the NCAA Tournament together for the second straight year.  Last season, the men fell to Baylor in the opening round, the women lost at Purdue in round one.

This is the fifth straight year the women have qualified for the NCAA Tournament.  The Jacks won an opening round game against TCU in 2009.
