The revolving door at PA Announcer for Nebraska Football continues as the second PA announcer in the last few weeks has been fired by the University.

The latest to get let go is Jon Schuetz after the University of Nebraska found a month old Facebook post that was critical of the firing of former Huskers coach Bo Pelini.

"They were correct to do it," Schuetz said of his firing. "I own it. It should be a lesson to everybody: be very careful what you say on social media."

Schuetz is well known in Nebraska from his time in local media in Omaha on TV for a number of years and now works in private business in Omaha.

Taking over for Schuetz will be Lane Grindle, who has been a sideline reporter for the Huskers IMG Sports Network.

This is the third person to hold the PA duties this summer as before Schuetz, as Patrick Combs was fired after he was arrested on suspicion of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from two elderly women.

Nebraska opens the 2015 season against BYU on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln.
