RAPID CITY, S.D. - The Journey Museum Board of Directors has named a new executive director.

Janna Norby will replace Raymond Summers as executive director at the museum that tells the story of the Black Hills. Summers is retiring May 1.

Board of Directors president Donna Fisher says Norby's youth and energy will help the museum build new connections with the local audience in Rapid City and visitors to the area.

Norby has experience in museum management with the National Park Service, the Montana Heritage Commission and the Mai Wah Society and Museum. She starts the position around June 1.
