NFL Team Does Right Thing, Re-Signs Player They Cut in Order to Pay for His Child’s Cancer Treatment
Not everyday do we get to highlight the good things in sports. Today we do as the Cincinnati Bengals did one of the classiest things I've ever seen an organization do.
Devon Still was cut by the Bengals because he didn't fit the need that they had at the time.
Normally that in itself would be a heart breaking experience for a player, but in the case of Still, this was just a minor issue in what already is a heart breaking situation.
Devon Still's daughter is fighting cancer and to help with the payment of the cancer treatment, the Bengals re-signed Still.
A class act.
Here is Good Morning America's feature on the story.
