Nike is looking to relaunch a model that set shelves ablaze back in the 80s, which was by far a simpler time for sneaker design. Fortunately, the Nike Lava Dome’s unique style doesn’t feel dated, thanks to the retro revolution that we’re currently in the midst of.

The Nike Lava Dome Ultra is delivered in a mellow colorway that consists of a tan suede and mesh upper and midsole. This soft, even tone is broken by a vibrant orange leather accents on the swoosh and heel as well as a black tongue and outsole. It’s a striking silhouette that remains true to the standard set long ago when Nike first introduced the model.
