The sadness that is the Minnesota Timberwolves over the last decade continues to be filled with injuries and under achieving.

The latest casualty is T-Wolves center Nikola Pekovic as he has now been ruled out indefinitely due to his ongoing Achilles injury.

Last April, Pekovic underwent surgery to repair his Achilles and since then has only played in 12 games for the Wolves.

I sat on my radio show a few years back when Pek resigned and I said it was a lot of money for a guy who was going to wear down... And here we are.

The Wolves project he will make a full recovery, but what does that give you?  What it gives you is a older, more worn down Pekovic on a roster that he probably doesn't fit that well with anyway.

Just chalk it up to another under achieving move that has turned once again for the worse and helped once again contribute to the losing ways of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
