Both Augustana Men and Women's basketball opened the NSIC season on the road Monday night and come away with a split.

The Lady Vikings get a team-high 21 points from Logan O'Farrell in the 83-78 overtime win.

The Vikings now 3-0, hadd four players in double-figures including a career-high 20 points from senior Paige Peterson.

Augustana returns to action Friday when the Vikings take on Michigan Tech in the Concordia-St. Paul Tournament.

For the men Augustana an 80-75 loss snaped the Vikings eight game winning streak over Wayne State. The loss drops the Vikings to 3-2 overall.

Jordan Spencer led all players in the game with 23 points. John Warren added 17 points.

Next up the Vikings are home on Wednesday, when they host Doane in the Elmen Center at 4:00 PM.
