After falling to the undefeated Denver Broncos last week, the Green Bay Packers play another unbeaten team at noon Sunday.

The Packers play on the road again and this time at Carolina, who is 7-0 and coming off a win in overtime against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Broncos held Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to just 77 yards last week. Rodgers will go up against another top cornerback in Josh Norman this week in Carolina.

Green Bay's offense has struggled as of late and is averaging 19.5 points per game over the month. One statistic that is mind boggling is that Rodgers has attempted 204 passes. That's 27th in the NFL. Davante Adams was back last week and he should help the vertical passing game. Another thing that has not allowed the passing game to open up is the run game. Eddie

Lacy started last week's game with a few big gains, but then it went away. Having Lacy pound the ball is going to open the passing game. The Packers' passing game is ranked 27th in the NFL with 210.1 yards per game.

Green Bay's defense will also have to step up. The Packers allowed 500 net yards and 160 rushing yards to Denver last week. All Green Bay's defense has to bend, but not break. The Packers have another tough option Sunday in defending Cam Newton. Newton is a passer and rusher. Even without Kelvin Benjamin, Newton has completed 54.2 of his passes for 1,523 yards, 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions. On the ground, Newton has ran for 286 yards and four touchdowns. And where Newton has the best, has been in the fourth quarter.

Two big injuries that could hurt the Packers is losing Sam Shields and Quinten Rollins against Denver. Neither have practiced this week. Shields hurt his shoulder and Rollins has a neck injury. Both have been key pieces for Green Bay in its secondary this season.

Sunday's game against Carolina should be a good one and the Packers will have their hands full. While their is still plenty of season left, the game could have playoff tiebreaker implications for the Packers and Panthers.

Packers: Rollins and Shields have not practiced this week, while Clay Matthews, Ty Montgomery and Nick Perry have been limited in practice and Aaron Ripkowski was a full participant in practice Thursday.

Panthers: Dwan Edwards, Andrew Norwell and Teddy Williams haven't practiced this week, while Mario Addison, Ed Dickson, Ryan Kahil, Fernando Velasco have been limited in practice and Normsn and Shaq Thompson were both full participants in practice.
