Only One of the Four Local Universities Win on the Football Field this Week

There were week's throughout the football season where all four local universities won on the field, but this was not that weekend.

Unfortunately the losing started on Thursday as Augustana University ended their season with a loss to Winona State 52-21.  Augie ends the season with a 4-7 record.

As Saturday came around, the hopes were high that USD, SDSU and USF could get some W's but only one team was able to keep those hopes alive.

USD traveled to NDSU and ran into a buzz saw as they fell to the Bison 49-14.

USF was in a hard fought battle with the #1 team in the country, but ended up falling to MSU 27-23.

The one local university to find the winners circle was SDSU who needed overtime to beat Illinois State 27-24.
