This time last year Packers fans had a nightmare come true after Jordy Nelson went down with a torn ACL in preseason.

Nearly a year later, he has passed his physical and is ready to take the field this season as the Packers number one passing option.

It's very doubtful that he will see any preseason action but he's off the physically unable to perform list and can now practice with the team. Which means that he can Rodgers can reunite their bond.

After last seasons woes from the Packers offensive unit, Nelson is set to have another huge year. Rodgers will be looking Nelson's way even more this season after the terrible output he had from pass catchers last season.

Nelson is easily one of the most underrated receivers in the league, in 2014 he had 98 catches for 1,519 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Time and time again Nelson has shown his knack for getting behind the defense or taking a short pass across the field for a long touchdown. What's even more impressive is the ball tracking skills and concentration that Nelson possess. The "spectacular catch" rating in Madden if you will.

Nelson will again become Rodgers safety net and without any setbacks should have giant numbers like his 2014 season. I think he's a top five receiver in the NFL when healthy and a second round pick in fantasy this season.
