PopCap's Peggle 2 will still be an Xbox One exclusive, but it will miss the console's launch on Nov. 22.

Speaking with Venture Beat, PopCap's senior director of PR Garth Chouteau related the bad news that instead of arriving in time for launch, Peggle 2 would release in the Xbox One launch window.

"Peggle 2 is a ‘launch timeframe’ title,” Chouteau said in a statement. "But [it] will not launch day-and-date with the Xbox One — instead, it will become available a few weeks later in December.”

There's no specific timeframe for Peggle 2's arrival on the Xbox One in December, nor is there any word on how long it will be a console exclusive for Microsoft's next-gen system. That another game has seen a delay, however slight, isn't all that surprising after major titles like Watch Dogs, Drive Club and South Park: The Stick of Truth had already seen delays in the last month. That said, at least the wait for Peggle 2 won't be quite as long as the wait for the other postponed launches.
