The Philadelphia Phillies proved on Monday that social media isn't all bad.

What started with a simple inquiry on Twitter from a father to the official Phillies account turned into a grin-inducing scene of generosity.

It didn't take a special request or inclination, just a routine question from DADitood about an autism awareness night that the Phillies have made a regular occurrence, especially over the past few seasons.

In a day and age where social media can become a dark and hurtful place, the Philadelphia Phillies embodied the giving spirit and brought a joyous moment to a father and his 3-year old daughter.

Hopefully DADitood and his daughter can make many delightful memories at the Phillies' game on April 22.

Bravo, @Phillies.
