The lone South Dakota basketball team still alive this post season is back in action tonight as the University of South Dakota women host McNeese State in the WBI semifinals.

The Coyotes (19-15) advanced by beating Lamar 71-48 in the WBI quarterfinals in Beaumont, Texas, Sunday.  USD has won seven of its last eight games, with the only loss coming in the Summit League Tournament Championship game to South Dakota State 16 days ago.  Nicole Seekamp has 46 points in the two WBI wins, while Tempestt Wilson and Polly Harrington have scored in double figures in both games.

McNeese State (20-14) is out of the Southland Conference and is led by twin guards Ashlyn and Caitlyn Baggett. Ashlyn leads the team in scoring (19 points per game) while Caitlyn is second in scoring (16 points) and tops in assists (5 per game).

The winner advances to face Detroit the WBI Championship game next Wednesday night.  Tipoff is 7:00pm tonight in the DakotaDome in Vermillion.
