Ubisoft's Rayman Legends will find itself on two more consoles in 2014 as the publisher will be porting the platformer to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

According to CVG, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemont revealed Rayman Legends would be coming to next-gen platforms in February during an investor call earlier this week. Guilemont didn't elaborate on what, if anything, would be different about the PS4 and Xbox One versions, but clearly Ubisoft wants Rayman to reach as many people as possible.

Originally, Rayman Legends was to be a Wii U exclusive, but earlier this year Ubisoft dashed those plans in favor of a multiplatform release. Already available on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PS Vita and Wii U, the addition of Legends to the next-gen library should provide some much needed presence from Ubisoft on those consoles in the new year. With Watch Dogs delayed until the spring, the publisher has only Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and Xbox One exclusive Fighter Within to hold the fort down.
