Ronda Rousey punished Bethe Correia in just 34 seconds on August 1, 2015. 21 Days later the UFC has announced her next scheduled opponent and date.

Many figured that Rousey would be in line to face Miesha Tate for a third time, but that won't be the case. People who wanted to see Rousey vs. Cris "Cyborg" Justino will have to wait also.

Rousey instead will face Holly Holm at UFC 195 on January 2, 2016. Holm is undefeated in her MMA career and has fought twice in the UFC. Both of her fights went the distance against Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night: Mir vs. Duffee, and Raquel Pennington at UFC 184. She also holds a 33-2-3 professional boxing record, and 2-1 kickboxing record.

Sounds like the makings for another throw down. We all know Rousey likes to stay on her feet and take swings. Holm will look to do the same.

Rousey made the fight announcement on Good Morning America and called Holm her toughest challenge yet.

UFC 195 is scheduled for January 2, 2016 in Las Vegas.
