Roosevelt Hosts Rapid City Central Tonight in Class AA Basketball

Sioux Falls Roosevelt is on a nice run lately, and that includes both the women and the men.

Tonight they will battle Rapid City Central in a rematch of games played just a couple weeks ago.

The Rough Rider girls have won three of their last four, and are coming off a 60-50 win over Sioux Falls Lincoln on Tuesday night. In that game, Paige Mriden put 22 on the board, while Nicole Hatcher dropped 17.

Roosevelt's last loss was to Rapid City Central back on the 11th. Central picked up a 47-39 win. The Riders look to avenge the loss tonight.

The Rough Rider boys will also battle Rapid City Central tonight as part of a doubleheader. In their last meeting, the two teams went to overtime and it was Roosevelt outlasting the Cobblers 71-62.

Roosevelt enters tonight's game at 6-1, and coming off a 64-55 win over Washington just last night. In that game, ESPN 99.1's Athlete of the Week Colton Kooima scored 22, while Chris Phillips added 17. The Riders will look to extend their winning streak to five.

Coverage for the doubleheader will begin at 6.
