Food Network Magazine finally found out something people from around these parts have known for a long time. Some of the best ice cream you'll ever taste is made 'on campus' in Brookings at SDSU.  In fact, it's manufactured at South Dakota State University's Dairy Sales Bar of the Davis Dairy Plant.

The article mentions how SDSU 'invented the flavor' and that the schools version is made 'cow to cone.'  They also mentioned how it's legendary and worth the fuss.
