As South Dakota State basketball fans wonder what life will look like for their Jackrabbits after Nate Wolters calls it a career next month, comes another reminder that the sun will indeed come up again in Brookings.

South Dakota State recruit Anders Broman, already the leading all-time high school scorer in Minnesota, just tacked on another big performance to his already impressive resume.

The senior at Lakeview Christian Academy, in Duluth, pumped in 70 points last Friday night in a 117-99 victory against Cass Lake-Bena (MN) High.  His shooting line? 13-of-17 from the floor, including 10-of-15 from behind the three-point arc, and a perfect 14-of-14 from the free throw line.

Impressive?  How about when you consider that Broman and the rest of the Lakeview starters left the game with six minutes left, with the game out of reach?

The 70-point performance is not Broman's best though.  That happened last season when he went for 71.  He is the first player in Minnesota history to have three 60 plus point games in a career.
