Colleges across the nation have chosen to show their support by having military appreciation nights or games. However, South Dakota State has decided to take it a step further for their game on Saturday against Western Illinois.

The Jackrabbits revealed through Twitter that they'll be changing the look of their helmets for their military appreciation game . Instead of the standard giant Jackrabbit and player numbers, the helmets will have the word "Jacks" with an imprint of the American flag.

This is a great move by the Jackrabbits to show even more appreciation for all serving and non-serving military members. Other schools have done this in the past and I think it's great that SDSU has gotten on board.
