Congratulations to SDSU's Seth Gross as he earned a spot on the USA Junior World Team by winning the 60-kilogram division over the weekend at the UWW Junior Freestyle World Team Trials in Irving, TX.

A Minnesota native, Gross just finished up his first season wrestling with the Jackrabbits with a 26-14 record at the 141 pound division.  In the Big12 Conference Championship he was the runner up and was one of five SDSU wrestlers to then go on to qualify for the NCAA Championships.

Over the weekend, Gross won all three of his matches in his challenge bracket and then won a best of three series to qualify for the 2016 UWW Junior World Championships in Macon, France come this August.
