Freddie & Fitz

The three-hour late night show recaps the top sports news events of the day and the biggest storylines from the games of the evening, mixing opinion, personality, and live guests and reporters. Each weeknight, Freddie & Fitz focuses on what fans are talking about that day as well as what we expect they will talk about tomorrow.

Prior to joining ESPN Radio, Coleman was weekday afternoon co-host of FoxSportsRadio 980-AM in Albany, N.Y. He also worked for Cablevision of Dutchess County as a sportscaster for the local news in Wappingers Falls, N.Y. and as co-host of the weekly SportsScene show, as well as color analyst for Marist Basketball.

Ian Fitzsimmons’ first radio gig was “comin’ to ya live” from a trailer in the middle of a cow pasture in Northport, Alabama on WSPZ. He then moved to Bristol, CT to be a producer for GameNight on ESPN Radio – back in the day of Chuck Wilson and Tony Bruno. Next stop was Birmingham, where he hosted “The Cheap Seats” on WJOX 690 before becoming co-host of “Herbstreit and Fitzsimmons” with Kirk Herbstreit of ESPN College
GameDay. Other stops include Salt Lake City and 103.3 FM ESPN in Dallas. Ian has filled in on the network and regularly works sidelines for ESPN Radio NFL and college football games.
