Sioux Falls Man Faces Felony Animal Abuse Charges After Dragging Puppy
A Sioux Falls man is charged with felony cruelty to an animal after he allegedly dragged a puppy on a sidewalk on Saturday.
Officer Sam Clemens says police were called by an eyewitness who saw the four-month-old pit bull puppy being dragged in the 1000 block of North Spring Avenue:
Clemens says 36-year-old Trinity George Swift Hawk was charged with false impersonation and outstanding warrants in addition to the cruelty to animals charge. He says Animal Control officers took the dog to a veterinarian.
