SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - A former Sioux Falls newspaper delivery man in South Dakota has been sentenced to 60 years in prison for burglarizing homes on his route.

KELO-TV reports that 30-year-old Patrick VanWagner was sentenced Monday for six counts of first-degree burglary.

VanWager was a delivery man for the Argus Leader until he was terminated following his arrest in January.

Prosecutors say that when people suspended their newspaper delivery while out of town, VanWagner would use that information to burglarize the homes.

VanWagner was ordered to pay up to $100,000 in restitution to his victims.
