A seven game losing streak has spurred the Texas Legends to action.  The Legends’ current NBA Development League slide started with their second game at the D-League Showcase on January 10.  This week, a pair of moves has jarred the lineup and brought back a couple of former players into the fold as the Legends and Sioux Falls Skyforce play tonight.

First came the trade earlier this week that brought back last year’s D-League MVP Justin Dentmon who was picked up in a trade for Chris Roberts.  Dentmon had been with the Legends before being traded to the Austin Toros last year.  Apparently, the Legends want to atone for their ways and reacquired Dentmon, a scoring point guard who will match up very nicely with Donald Sloan of the ‘Force.

The second move is the signing of Rashad McCants who was a member of the 2005 NCAA National Champion North Carolina Tar Heels and was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves and played a little more than four seasons before being traded to Sacramento.  McCants is linked to the Legends through an allocation with the Dallas Mavericks back in 2010 and most recently played in China.

The Skyforce and Legends will tipoff tonight in Frisco, Texas at 7:05 pm Central Time.  It is the final game between the two teams this season with the season series tied at two games apiece.
