NEW YORK -- The Philadelphia 76ers on Friday assigned Arnett Moultrie to the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the 76ers’ NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the 66th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, while Moultrie becomes the 42th NBA player to be assigned to the NBA D-League this season.

Moultrie (6-10, 245, Mississippi State) joins the Skyforce having played in 11 games for the 76ers this season, averaging 1.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 5.5 minutes.

Moultrie was drafted with the 27th overall pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Miami Heat, then traded to the Philadelphia 76ers for Justin Hamilton and a future first-round draft pick.

He will be in uniform Friday night when the Skyforce hits the road to take on the Texas Legends.
