The Sioux Falls Skyforce made a couple of moves leading up to their first road game of the season against the Tulsa 66ers.  The first is the addition of Larry Drew II to the active roster.  Drew has only played two games so far this season and was inactive against the Iowa Energy this past weekend because of a leg injury.  The UCLA guard has averaged 4.5 points and 4.5 assists per game for the Skyforce.

Additionally, the team has picked up guard John Allen who was drawn from the available player pool.  Allen started the season as a fourth round draft pick of the Texas Legends who then traded his rights to the Santa Cruz Warriors.  The Warriors let the rookie go during training camp.  Allen is a 6-1, 190-pound guard who averaged 15.4 points and 3.6 assists in three seasons (96 games) at Western Washington University.  The Vikings won the NCAA Division 2 national championship during Allen’s Junior year in 2012 and reached the national semi-finals his senior year.  He compiled the 7th most career points in WWU history in only three years after spending one year at Washington State.

The Skyforce head to Tulsa for a matinee on Thursday before coming back home to face Ft. Wayne on Saturday.
