Source: Bills Acquire QB Tarvaris Jackson

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - A person familiar with the discussions says the Buffalo Bills have reached an agreement with quarterback Tarvaris Jackson.

Jackson's arrival in Buffalo completes a trade with the Seattle Seahawks.

The person said a deal to restructure the final year of Jackson's contract was reached early Monday and that the quarterback was already traveling to Buffalo. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the Bills have not announced the trade.

Jackson was scheduled to make $4 million this season, but that figure was restructured because the Bills deemed it to be too expensive for a backup player.

It's not yet clear what the Seahawks will get in return, though it's expected to be a mid- to late-round draft pick from Buffalo.
