A home shutout at the hands of the number one team in the nation has cost South Dakota State in the National FCS Rankings.

The Jackrabbits are down one spot, to seventh, in the Sports Network Top 25, falling three notches, to ninth, in the FCS Coaches Poll.

The 20-0 loss to the Bison, who stay at number one again this week in both polls, was the first home shutout loss for SDSU since 1991.

Other Missouri Valley Conference teams ranked this week:

Northern Iowa (4th - both polls) and Youngstown State (22nd - coaches poll).

Illinois State dropped out of the Top 25 after a 37-10 loss at Missouri State.
