So far the South Dakota State men's and women's basketball teams have run the table in the 2017-18 Summit League season. And for the second straight week, the Jackrabbits have swept the conference's top player honors - freshman guard David Jenkins Jr. on the men's side, junior guard Macy Miller on the women's side.

Jenkins' honor is the first of his career. He led all scorers with 27 points in SDSU's lone game last week, a 98-70 win at Western Illinois, shooting 69 percent (9-of-13) from the field with four three-pointers and a perfect 5-of-5 night at the free throw line. He also added six rebounds.

The Tacoma, Washington native is sixth in the nation in total points among all NCAA Division I freshman.

Miller repeats as the women's player of the week.

The Mitchell native averaged 27 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals while shooting 63 percent from the field, 50 percent from three-point range and a perfect eight for eight from the free-throw line in two games.

In the Jackrabbits' final non-conference game of the season against Dakota Wesleyan, Miller tallied 23 points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 64 percent from the floor and 60 percent from long range.

Miller tied her career high with 31 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field and 6-of-6 from the foul line in the win over Western Illinois. Miller dished four assists, grabbed eight rebounds and made four steals.

The Summit League award is the fifth for Miller this season.
