South Dakota State running back Zach Zenner on the list of players to watch for the Walter Payton Award.

The junior is one of 20 players named to the 2013 watch list for the top offensive player in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Zenner was a finalist for the award last season after leading the nation in rushing.  In 2012, he ran for 2,044 yards (157 yards per game) and went over 100 yards in nine games, topping 200 yards three times, including a school-record 295 yards in the opening round of the FCS playoffs against Eastern Illinois.

Zenner averaged nearly seven yards a carry and scored 13 touchdowns last season.

The Walter Payton Award will be presented by The Sports Network, December 16th.
